The Civil Nuclear Constabulary is a leading organisation for armed policing protective services, striving to be recognised nationally and internationally.

As a Force Incident Manager, you will oversee and manage all operational activity and resources within the Command and Control Centre, providing Tactical Firearms Command for spontaneous firearms incidents.

Key responsibilities include planning, managing and monitoring the initial response to all incidents, ensuring effective and appropriate resource allocation and risk management.

You will identify, manage and mitigate any operational threats or risks in line with national guidance and operational policing plans, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of officers, staff and the public at all times.

Eligibility criteria

  • You must be a substantive Inspector, with a Tactical Firearms Commander qualification.
  • You must be currently serving within a Home Office force or have served in a Home Office force within the previous twelve months.
  • You must not be currently subject to an unsatisfactory performance review or action plan (or within the previous 12 months).
  • All mandatory training must be up to date.
