About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspector to join our team as a Force Incident Manager. As a key member of our Command and Control Centre, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all operational activity and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tactical Firearms Command for spontaneous firearms incidents across the Constabulary.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor the initial response to all incidents, ensuring effective and appropriate resource allocation and risk management.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate any operational threats or risks in line with national guidance and operational policing plans.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of officers, staff, and the public at all times.
Eligibility Criteria
  • You must be a substantive Inspector with a Tactical Firearms Commander qualification.
  • You must be currently serving within a Home Office force or have served in a Home Office force within the previous twelve months.
  • You must not be currently subject to an unsatisfactory performance review or action plan (or within the previous 12 months).
  • All mandatory training must be up to date.
