Protecting the UK's National Security

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Force Incident Manager to oversee and manage all operational activity and resources within the Command and Control Centre (CCC).

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing Tactical Firearms Command for spontaneous firearms incidents across the Constabulary, ensuring effective and appropriate resource allocation and risk management.

You will identify, manage and mitigate any operational threats or risks in line with national guidance and operational policing plans, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of officers, staff and the public at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tactical Firearms Command for spontaneous firearms incidents
  • Manage and monitor the initial response to all incidents
  • Ensure effective and appropriate resource allocation and risk management
  • Identify, manage and mitigate operational threats or risks

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a substantive Inspector with a Tactical Firearms Commander qualification
  • Must be currently serving within a Home Office force or have served in a Home Office force within the previous twelve months
  • Must not be currently subject to an unsatisfactory performance review or action plan (or within the previous 12 months)
  • All mandatory training must be up to date
