About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic Forensic Autism Service at Guild Lodge, part of the Specialist Services Network.


The successful applicant will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing person-centred care to adults aged over 16 with autism and who have forensic risk and other complex needs.


Responsibilities include:



  • Maintaining high levels of evidence-based clinical practice
  • Contributing to and facilitating Care Processes and Pathways
  • Providing full assessments of individual's needs and providing appropriate action and intervention
  • Safeguarding and linking in with local authorities
  • Supporting carers and service users

Requirements


Essential:



  • CQSW, CSS, DipSW or equivalent Registration with Social Work England
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Degree qualification in relevant subject or demonstrable evidence or equivalent experience relevant to field of practice (autism and/or forensic risk)

Desirable:



  • Experience and knowledge of working with autistic people
  • Experience and knowledge of working in forensic settings and with individuals who have forensic risk
  • MSC/Diploma in relevant area
