About the Role

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our Forensic Autism Service team. As a Forensic Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care to adults with autism and forensic risk, while balancing their care and support needs with risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept referrals to the Forensic Autism Service and conduct full assessments of individuals' needs.
  • Develop and implement appropriate action plans to support service users.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Contribute to the development of care processes and pathways.
  • Support the team in safeguarding and linking with local authorities.

Requirements

  • CQSW, CSS, DipSW or equivalent registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience of working with individuals with autism and forensic risk, including 12 months in autism or forensic services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
