About the Role

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Forensic Autism Service. As a key member of our team, you will work with adults aged over 16 who have autism and forensic risk, providing person-centred care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept referrals to the Forensic Autism Service and provide full assessments of individuals' needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of service users.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the development of the service and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Post-qualifying experience in social work, including 12 months working in autism or forensic services.
  • Registration with Social Work England and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
