Role Overview
Lancashire County Council is seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Fostering Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting new fostering applicants and our existing fostering families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and re-assessments of fostering applicants and families
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and their families
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
- Use critical thinking and analytical skills to complete assessments and provide support
Requirements
