About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic and enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team providing person-centred care to adults aged over 16 with autism and who have forensic risk and other complex needs.

As a Forensic Social Worker, you will be responsible for the maintenance of high levels of evidence-based clinical practice, contributing to and facilitating Care Processes and Pathways.

You will provide full assessments of individual's needs and provide appropriate action and intervention.

The successful candidate will support the team around safeguarding and linking in with local authorities.

The role involves working with and supporting carers as well as service users.

Main Responsibilities

  • To accept referrals to the Forensic Autism Service; provide a full assessment of the individuals needs, and provide appropriate action.
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team will also be required.
  • The candidate will also be required to work with multiple agencies and service providers across Lancashire & South Cumbria which will require excellent communication skills.
