About the Role

The Senior Lead for the CYP Autism Intensive Support Service will be responsible for providing expert support, advice, and clinical leadership to a 4-18 years Autism Service. This will involve promoting and supporting good access to mainstream healthcare for those with autism, reducing health inequalities, and premature mortality, and delivering specialist healthcare interventions for this group of people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical leadership and support to the team
  • Developing and implementing service plans to improve outcomes for children and young people with autism
  • Working closely with partner agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Managing budgets, recruitment, and staff management

Requirements

  • Extensive clinical knowledge and experience in the field of autism and learning disabilities
  • Management development through continuous professional development and/or formal management courses
  • Experience of partnership working across a range of agencies and professional boundaries
