About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Treasury Assistant to join our client's team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Treasury Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Treasury Operations team and contributing to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Daily Cash Review: Assist in reviewing and reconciling daily cash transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Payments Process for Debt and Deposits: Process payments for debt and deposits, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Treasury Management System Database Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the treasury management system database, including inputting and updating data, and running reports as required.
  • Treasury Compliance: Ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures, including bank account KYC and authorizations.
  • Debt Compliance Reports: Assist in preparing debt compliance reports, including Directors' Certificates and calculations.
  • Treasury Operations Improvements: Contribute to improving treasury operations processes and systems, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Treasury Administration: Assist with treasury administration tasks, including deal checklists, data reconciliations, procedures manual, and archiving processes.
  • Adherence to Treasury Policy: Ensure adherence to treasury policy and procedures, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Relevant Treasury Experience: Proven experience in treasury, banking, and/or payments, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Excel and Microsoft Office Skills: Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to manage workstreams, self-review, and ownership of work.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • Motivated and Problem-Solving: Motivated and keen to problem-solve, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Responsive and Collaborative Team Player: Responsive and collaborative team player, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
