About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theatre scrub and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrub under AfPP good practice guidance.
  • Focus on patient-centric care, participating in the entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management.

The salary for this role is approximately £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a flexible working arrangement, allowing you to choose your shifts and work-life balance.

Requirements:
  • Previous theatre experience is required, with ophthalmic scrub experience preferred but not essential.
  • Evidence of relevant professional development, clinically, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration or ODP with valid HCPC Registration.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
