We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Theatre Practitioner to join our team as an ophthalmic scrub practitioner. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a busy operating theatre environment.

">About the Role

The successful candidate will have previous experience in theatre settings, with a strong focus on patient centric care and adherence to AfPP guidelines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrubbing.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless transitions between theatre phases
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and theatre activities
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

A valid HCPC registration as an ODPAt least 2 years post-qualification clinical experience in a secondary care settingEvidence of relevant professional development and certificationUp-to-date knowledge in area of practiceProficient use of PC software and systemsStrong interpersonal and communication skills

Estimated salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
