Senior Manager - Framework Operations

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Framework Operations team, overseeing the delivery of minor civils projects within the wastewater sector.

This challenging role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and exceptional leadership skills to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, optimise project performance, and foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project delivery, risk management, and team performance.
  • Lead a team of Delivery Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure alignment with project goals and company objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Project, Commercial, Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Establish clear, measurable targets for team performance, define roles and responsibilities, and hold team members accountable for delivering quality outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lead framework and contract meetings, and deliver comprehensive management reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and measure performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Encourage team involvement in achieving business goals, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and maximise value, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while achieving financial targets.
Requirements:
  • Degree, or equivalent, in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • To hold appropriate qualifications in Project / Business Management and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties, Programme, and NEC Contracts.
  • A proven track record in Project/Frameworks Management.
  • Experience in building collaborative relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers.
  • To have management experience and ideally a technical understanding of the Water Industry.
  • A full driving licence.
