We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team as an ophthalmic scrub practitioner. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating theatre environment.
">About the RoleThe successful candidate will have previous experience in theatre settings, with a strong focus on patient centric care and adherence to AfPP guidelines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrubbing.
">Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with NHS standards
- Participate in preoperative assessments and diagnostics testing
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth operating theatre operations
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
A valid HCPC registration as an ODPAt least 2 years post-qualification clinical experience in a secondary care settingEvidence of relevant professional development and certificationUp-to-date knowledge in area of practiceProficient use of PC software and systemsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEstimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
