Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Dementia Care

Salary: Up to £39,696 per annum (£17.35 per hour)

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with dementia.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assessing Residents' Needs: You will assess residents' needs and develop services to enhance their quality of life
  • Developing Care Plans: You will champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical and social needs
  • Medicine Management: You will oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift - ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation
  • Resident Experience: You will ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge
  • Risk Management: You will ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines - identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively
  • Recording Practices: You will ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual who has good nursing experience, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to write care plans. You should be able to show empathy and warmth, and be able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy etc. An effective team leader and role model is essential, along with the knowledge to make research-based decisions regarding nursing care needs.
