Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Home Manager to lead our new 2-bed children's home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care and support for the young people in our care, working closely with the Responsible Individual and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare, minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a Registered Children's Home setting, and a proven track record with Ofsted.

As a Children's Home Manager at Shaw Trust, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for young people. You will be responsible for fostering an atmosphere where they can thrive, while also ensuring the well-being and stability of the children and young people in their care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the home forward towards ensuring a secure, safe, and motivating environment for both the children and young people in their care and staffing team.
  • Foster an atmosphere where children and young people can thrive.
  • Work closely with the Responsible Individual and key stakeholders to ensure high-quality care and support.
