Strategic Business Development Manager

The Retail, Leisure and Hospitality practice at Willis Towers Watson is a dedicated team providing risk and insurance solutions for large clients in the sector. We have extensive expertise across various sub-sectors, including hoteliers, pubs, restaurants, venue attractions, gambling, and all areas of retail.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients. This involves understanding their business needs, identifying potential risks, and developing effective solutions to mitigate these risks.
You will lead a supporting service team, maintaining strong relationships with Claims Advocates to ensure seamless delivery of client services. Your primary goal will be to optimize revenue from new and existing clients using various placement channels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing ultimate responsibility for the provision of required services to clients
- Understanding clients' business needs and risk management requirements
- Leading a supporting service team
- Maintaining effective working relationships with Claims Advocates
- Placement Management: Delivering optimization of revenue from new and existing clients
- Operational and Service Delivery: Leading end-to-end ongoing client service, adhering to standardized policies, procedures, and service standards
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong track record of account development and new business sales. You should possess excellent communication skills, able to build effective relationships with clients, prospects, insurers, and external specialists.
A competitive salary of around £60,000-£80,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in driving business growth and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
