Job Description:

Solmar Villas, a leading independent Villa Holiday Specialist, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for managing our key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships, and driving growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with our key account tour operators, including setting up and attending regular meetings to nurture those relationships.
  • Track performance and identify areas for business growth.
  • Lead on key accounts trading reviews, identifying actions required to take advantage of opportunities or reduce risk.
  • Provide regular forecasts and updates on performance and sales analysis.
  • Work with other departments to ensure good communication between our key accounts and Solmar service and delivery teams.
  • Attend relevant trade shows as required to develop business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with experience of presenting to and influencing a wide variety of audiences at a senior level.
  • Confident and competent at networking and nurturing important relationships, both face-to-face, by phone, and digitally.
  • A positive attitude to additional tasks in line with business needs.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
  • Sales-driven, account management – the ability to develop strong B2B commercial relationships.
  • Computer literate and comfortable using technology such as Salesforce CRM systems and MS Office suite.
  • A UK driving license.
  • The ability to travel regularly within the UK and on occasion within Europe.
