Job Overview

Solmar Villas, a leading independent villa holiday specialist, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth and maximize revenue from key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key account tour operators, setting up regular meetings to nurture relationships, track performance, and identify areas for business growth.
  • Promote new services and products through distribution channels.
  • Lead on key accounts trading reviews, identifying actions to take advantage of opportunities or reduce risk.
  • Provide regular forecasts and updates on performance and sales analysis.
  • Develop opportunities to broaden channels of distribution and achieve volume growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure good communication between key accounts and Solmar service and delivery teams.
  • Attend relevant trade shows to develop business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with experience in commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Confident and competent in networking and nurturing important relationships.
  • A positive attitude to additional tasks in line with business needs.
  • A strong knowledge of industry systems and processes.
  • A self-starter with a strong team player mentality.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
  • Information gathering and interpretation skills.
  • Sales-driven, account management skills.
  • A good understanding of API connectivity.
  • Computer literacy and comfort using technology such as Salesforce CRM systems and MS Office suite.
  • A UK driving license.
  • The ability to travel regularly within the UK and occasionally within Europe.
