Solmar Villas is a leading independent villa holiday specialist, providing high-quality villa holidays in various destinations across Europe and the USA.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, ideally with a background in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management
    • Manage relationships with key account tour operators, including regular meetings, performance tracking, and identifying areas for business growth.
    • Promote new services and products through our distribution channels.
  • Commercial Growth
    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and maximize revenue from key accounts.
    • Identify new distribution channels and opportunities for business growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Provide regular forecasts and updates on performance and sales analysis.
    • Work with other departments to ensure good communication between key accounts and Solmar service and delivery teams.
  • Business Development
    • Attend relevant trade shows to develop business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Skills and Experience
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with experience of presenting to and influencing senior-level audiences.
    • Confident and competent at networking and nurturing important relationships.
    • Strong knowledge of industry systems and processes.
    • Self-starter with a strong team player mentality.
    • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
    • Information gathering and interpretation skills.
    • Sales-driven and account management skills.
    • Good understanding of API connectivity.
    • Computer literate and comfortable using technology such as Salesforce CRM systems and MS Office suite.
    • UK driving license.
    • Ability to travel regularly within the UK and occasionally within Europe.
