Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Coordinator to join our team as an Assistant Aftercare Manager at Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd. This role is perfect for a proactive and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer care.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate the resolution of defects at the time of handover and at the end of the defects period, working closely with inspection teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee the Developer Aftercare teams to ensure defects are fixed within the agreed period, reassigning defects that are not resolved within the expected timeframe.
  • Monitor ongoing repair work to ensure it meets contract standards, arranging visits to review any defects, poor workmanship, or concerns reported by customers.
  • Work closely with our teams to find solutions to any problems experienced by customers, keeping an eye on the performance of sub-contractors and addressing any recurring issues.
  • Manage the final inspection process at the end of the defect liability period, reporting on aftercare issues to the Aftercare Lead, including the performance of developers, inspectors, and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

  • Experience working for a volume housebuilder, with a strong understanding of complicated and latent defects.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with strong knowledge of the development and construction process.
  • Experience using defect tracking systems such as clixifix, with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.

What We Offer:

  • Up to £38k basic salary (depending on experience).
  • Monday-Friday working hours, with hybrid working arrangements, including one day from home.
  • Free lunch on Wednesdays, with pension contributions.
