The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art is committed to fostering an innovative and enriching research culture. To achieve this goal, we are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our research resources and publications efforts.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of line managing teams across various functions, including archives, records, library, and data protection. They will work closely with department leads to develop strategic thinking and planning, advocating for the Centre's activities across sectors.
This role involves providing structure and support for a team that includes the Archivist, Records & Data Protection Manager, Librarian, two Senior Editors, and the Editor of British Art Studies (freelance). The postholder will be responsible for ensuring and enhancing PMC's role in promoting an inclusive and inspirational research culture.
A competitive salary of £82,500 p.a. is offered, along with a generous range of employee benefits and a caring and supportive work environment.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working collaboratively across teams to assess and develop how people access and engage with research resources and publications in British art studies.
