Project Coordination Opportunities in Sound and Audiovisual Archiving

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our project team as a Project Coordinator in the context of the Europeana Sounds project. This initiative, funded by the European Commission, aims to enhance discovery and access to Europe's rich digital sound and music collections.

The successful candidate will contribute to the project's objectives by coordinating various tasks and activities, collaborating with partner institutions from across the EU. The role is based in London, offering an opportunity to work within the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the project manager in ensuring timely delivery of project milestones;
  • Collaborating with partners to develop and implement effective workflows;
  • Coordinating communication and stakeholder engagement activities;

The ideal candidate will have a background in project coordination, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in international collaborative environments. Knowledge of the cultural heritage sector would be beneficial. As a key member of the project team, you will contribute to shaping the project's success and leave a lasting impact on the preservation and accessibility of Europe's sonic heritage.

For this challenging yet rewarding position, we offer a competitive salary range estimated at £38,891 - £45,168 per annum. The contract is fixed-term, running until 31 March 2017.
