About the Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a specialist recruitment agency with a strong reputation, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Older Adults Mental Health Occupational Therapist to take on a new locum role in the Tameside area.

  • Pay Rate: £25 per hour (assignment rate)

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist who can provide high-quality care and support to older adults. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy assessments and therapeutic interventions across the Older Adult service.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Providing occupational therapy assessments & therapeutic interventions across the Older Adult service in Tameside.
  2. Providing support to 2 inpatient wards & across the community.
  3. Undertaking assessments to aid discharge planning from the wards & supporting people to live safely in their current home environments.
  4. Working with older adults with both organic & functional mental health needs.
