About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Mental Health Advisor for GPs in Tameside. This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with primary care professionals, providing expert advice and guidance to support patients' mental health needs within the local area.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality mental health support to GPs and their patients in Tameside, utilizing your expertise to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • To collaborate with other Consultants to enhance service development, participate in local and divisional meetings, and contribute to the growth of our mental health services.

Requirements

  • A strong background in General Adult Psychiatry, with experience working in primary care settings.
  • Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC's Specialist Register or imminent award of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
