Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Philanthropy Research Specialist to join our Private Sector Fundraising team at DNDi. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive prospect research strategy that aligns with our fundraising plans and strategic priorities.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our mission to deliver new treatments for neglected diseases. You will work closely with front-facing fundraisers, maintaining close relationships with the global private sector fundraising team and participating in regular meetings with the broader External Relations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an effective prospect research strategy supporting DNDi's philanthropic ambitions.
  • Identify and qualify prospective donors by cross-referencing information from our supporter database, external databases, funding calls, media sources, and biographical references.
  • Conduct in-depth research on prospective donors and contacts, building strong relationships internally and promoting the effective use of research information.
  • Maintain accurate information in Salesforce, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations in relation to data processing and use of prospect management tools.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years relevant experience in prospect research, preferably in a global health, scientific, or medical non-profit setting.
  • Strong understanding of the global philanthropic landscape and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and matrix structure.
  • Fluency in English and good knowledge of Microsoft Suite and fundraising CRMs, with Salesforce a plus.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location

The role is based in Geneva, Switzerland, with occasional travel to other locations as required.
