About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Philanthropy Programme Manager to lead and develop our Philanthropy programme, driving growth and transformational gifts for the future of St John Ambulance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Philanthropy team, objectives, and targets, including personally managing a portfolio of donors giving at a transformational level
  • Responsible for setting, monitoring, and reviewing philanthropy income and expenditure budget as well as creating the team's annual and five-year plans alongside the Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy
  • Oversee the development and management of our Development Board, ensuring significant income growth and transformational gifts
  • Grow the UK and International pipeline, working closely with the Prospect Researcher to identify and research new prospective funders and planning advanced strategies to increase major gifts from wealthy prospects
