Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a proactive Sales Development Manager to join our international group, selling into the Food and Agricultural markets across the UK & Europe.
BASIC SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with our Marketing team to identify key players and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification.
- Outbound cold calls and emails by data (i.e. LinkedIn) and support the sales team with customer mapping activities.
- Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects and updating the CRM (SalesForce) accordingly.
- Interacting with customers after sales concerning lead times for customer and any after sale services required.
Person Specification:
- You must have worked within the food industry in a sales environment or similar.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal skills at all levels.
