Salary: £45,000 per annum (flexibility depending on experience)
Location: Chorley - Hybrid available
Hours of work: 37 hours Monday to Thursday

About the Role:

  • Provide a quality procurement & supply chain service that is compliant with the lifecycle requirements
  • Deliver multiple procurement projects simultaneously
  • Ensure contracts protect from unnecessary risks
  • Act as a link between Portfolio delivery teams, the procurement team and the suppliers

Candidates should have experience of the following:

  1. Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience
  2. Must have an adaptable, patient and positive attitude
  3. CIPS qualified level 4
  4. Extensive contract drafting experience
  5. Strong negotiating skills
  6. Experience of RFQ/ITT processes and principles

Ideally candidates should also have:

  1. Degree qualified in engineering, project management or equivalent
  2. Line management experience
