Developmental Support Worker for Children

About the Position
We are seeking a Developmental Support Worker for Children to join our team at UKCIL Ltd.
As a Developmental Support Worker, you will work closely with a 7-year-old boy with autism and communication difficulties, providing support and care in a home-based setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) and be able to build strong relationships through engaging activities such as play, drawing, and singing.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and games.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to the child's development.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the child's independence and confidence.
Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN.
- Punctuality, honesty, and a fun-loving approach.
- A strong focus on safety and supervision at all times.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers an estimated salary of £12.40 per hour, based on an average of 8 hours worked per month. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive training program and opportunities for professional growth and development.
