Reliable Caregiver Required for Developmental Needs Assistance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a caring and responsible support worker to assist our son with his daily needs. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with individuals with developmental delays and be able to provide a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with Daily Living Tasks: Provide support with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Implement Physiotherapy Exercises: Work with our son to develop exercises that aid his mobility.
  3. Develop Motor Skills: Engage in play activities that promote motor skills development.
  4. Enhance Communication: Use Makaton techniques to improve our son's communication and understanding.

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time position working approximately 6 hours per week during term time and 16 hours per week during school holidays.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £22,500 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience). We also offer a range of benefits, including Enhanced DBS clearance and reference checks.
