We are looking for an experienced SEMH specialist to join our team at a SEMH school in North London, who shares our commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This Alternative Provision has been established to cater to the unique needs of students with SEMH needs, offering a supportive and inclusive environment where they can thrive academically and personally.

About Our Team

Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who share a passion for special educational needs provision and a commitment to excellence in teaching and support.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with other professionals, including teachers, support staff, and therapists, to develop and deliver tailored educational programs that meet the diverse needs of our students.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, incorporating your expertise in secondary DT to promote student creativity and achievement.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to set and update targets for individual children, working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure seamless progression and academic success.
  • Prioritise pupil well-being, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Contribute to the development of effective strategies for supporting pupils with SEMH needs, including adherence to behaviour plans and tailored learning approaches.
Requirements and Benefits

We require applicants to hold Full QTS with experience teaching secondary DT, possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks, and have a legal right to work in the UK.

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes exclusive training programs and networking events.
