Vocational Services Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vocational Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with mental health conditions and other complex barriers to secure and sustain competitive employment. You will manage a diverse caseload of clients, conduct assessments, and develop employment plans aligned with the IPS model.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients with varying challenges, including mental health conditions, disabilities, substance misuse, criminal histories, and long-term unemployment.
  • Conduct client-centred assessments to identify strengths, work preferences, skills gaps, and employment goals, ensuring an individualised approach aligned with the IPS principles.
  • Develop and implement employment plans, setting clear, measurable, and achievable goals, while providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Engage with local employers to secure competitive, integrated employment opportunities, building strong relationships to advocate for clients' work preferences and abilities.
  • Provide ongoing in-work support for up to six months post-placement, addressing any emerging issues that may impact job retention.
