We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator for our warehouse in Ormonde (Barrow-in-Furness), UK
The position is within the O&M Delivery department, which is responsible for all O&M activities on our offshore wind farms in the countries we operate. O&M focuses on operating our wind farms safely, efficiently and professionally.
Your tasks and responsibilities as Warehouse Coordinator
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you are responsible for overseeing, directing and coordinating the storing, optimizing, delivering and controlling of spare parts and consumables for warehouses. Another part of your responsibilities is maintaining various databases incl. SAP, PPE, as well as lifting equipment and tooling. The following shows the responsibilities and tasks that you will oversee and manage KPIs for:
- Mobilization (MOB)
- Urgent picks in the morning
- Transport urgent spares, tools etc. to the quayside and load the CTV
- Maintainance of all SAP-related tasks for MOB
- De-Mobilization (DMOB)
- Registration of goods receiving including SAP registration
- Control that received goods are in good quality
- Documentation in SAP and inform people if applicable
- Deliveries of Pick & Pack service kits for the planned service
- Packing of goods for service
- Dangerous goods handling
- Ensuring documents according to specifications
- The daily housekeeping at the warehouse according to lean principals
- HV Maintenance
- Responsible for picking, packing and sending tools & PPE to the supplier for calibration
- Receive tools & PEE and handle certificates accordingly
- Help with HV MOB and DMOB
- Participate in site meetings HSE, Planning, Performance talks etc.
Location
The job location is our office and warehouse in Ormonde (Barrow-in-Furness), UK
**Profile**:
You will play a key role in the fulfilment of the O&M Supply Chain, it is therefore a requirement that you can work independently in a structured way.
You have an understanding of cultural differences and can act accordingly. You have good communication skills and drive. When necessary, you can make quick decisions in difficult circumstances, while maintaining an obliging and service-minded attitude and flexible adjusting to changing circumstances.
Further, you have:
- Strong capabilities in English (spoken and written)
- A strong IT user of Microsoft Office suite
- SAP knowledge regarding the modules PM and MM
- Self-driven
- Strong organisation and coordination skills
- Experience with wind turbine warehouse operations
- Forklift certificate
- Driver’s license
