Warehouse Administrator Role Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Administrator at Absolute 4 Staff (Stoke) Ltd. As a key member of our Warehousing team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate bookings for transport and delivery
- Complete and provide all transport documentation, including Customs documentation
- Participate positively in relevant projects
- Provide all relevant records and reporting to enable effective and efficient Warehousing
- Ensure all administration is completed on time, to a high standard, and stored appropriately
- Ensure all work instructions are accurate and up to date
- Recognise and raise Non-conformances following the relevant process and participate in root cause analysis to identify and implement an appropriate solution
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers by telephone and email, ensuring the highest standards of customer service
- Carry out Warehouse Team Member tasks as and when required, including pick, pack, and rework
- Work across Goods In and Finished Goods as required
- Assist the Team Leader with support in all areas of administration
- Ensure that ideas and suggestions are made to promote continuous improvement in Warehousing
- Follow the 5S principle to ensure high standards of housekeeping in the area
- Commit to Absolute 4 Staff (Stoke) Ltd's Values, Policies, Procedures, and Objectives
- Any other duties as required from time to time
Personal Profile:
- Experience in administration or equivalent NVQ in Administration
- Confident, organised, and proactive
- Numerate, literate, and high levels of attention to detail
- Consistently demonstrates a positive attitude
- Good computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, used to dealing with people over the phone and via email
- Able to work across both sites in a busy, demanding environment
- Willing to attend relevant training as and when required
- Adaptable and seeks to make a positive difference
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to putting the customer at the heart of everything
- Team player, with a willingness to work well as part of a team
- Committed to Continuous Improvement, with a focus on continually improving the way we do things
- Resilient and able to deal with the demands of the business
- Flexible approach to work and able to work the Warehouse shift pattern when required
