About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Training Facilitator to join our dedicated team at Specialist Care Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the skills of our staff, ultimately impacting the lives of those we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to new recruits and senior team members, following our set syllabus and learning plans.
  • Ensure our team is well-trained in all required areas to provide safe and person-centred care.
  • Collaborate with the management team to influence the structure and quality of our training programmes.
  • Deliver training from our Morecambe office, but travel to our Manchester office at least every six weeks to conduct training sessions.
  • Work flexibly, with the option for part-time hours across three set days a week (flexible over time with advance notice).
  • Work with other professionals, such as district nurses, and help teams to manage delegated tasks, for example diabetes management.

Requirements
  • At least Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Training qualification (e.g., PTLLS).
  • Experience in delivering social care training.
  • Ability to deliver training in various subjects, including:
    • Care Certificate
    • People moving and handling
    • Breakaway techniques
    • Diabetes management
    • Emergency administration of EpiPens
    • First aid
  • Confident communicator, proficient with various media.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a professional and positive approach.
