Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage creatively with young people in our supported accommodation service, providing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Work as a key-worker to a case load of residents, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Facilitate person-centered plans to help residents achieve their goals and develop their skills.
  • Deliver or facilitate group or one-to-one sessions with residents, providing support and guidance to help them develop their strengths and talents.
  • Support and empower residents to maintain their tenancy and manage rent arrears.

Requirements:

  • Proactive and experienced in working with young people in a similar setting.
  • Personable and resilient approach, with the ability to engage with and support residents in their journey to independent living.
  • Flexible to work on a rota basis, including day shifts, earlies, lates, and evenings, and 1 in 4 weekends.
  • Act as a role model to young people, working with them to develop and maintain positive relationships.
