Project Worker Role

Brook Street Social Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join their team in a supported accommodation service for 16-24 year olds.

The successful candidate will engage creatively with young people, offering support to enable them to develop their strengths and talents, and develop skills to achieve independent living.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working as a key-worker to a case load of residents
  • Facilitating person-centred plans to help residents achieve their goals
  • Delivering or facilitating group or one-to-one sessions with residents
  • Supporting and empowering residents to maintain their tenancy and manage rent arrears

The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and resilient, with a strong ability to engage with and support residents. Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including day shifts, earlies, lates, and evenings, and 1 in 4 weekends is required.

As a role model to the young people, the successful candidate will work with them to develop and maintain positive relationships.
