About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a key member of our team, you will work with young people aged 16-24 in a supported accommodation service, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and develop independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage creatively with young people to develop their strengths and talents
  • Offer support to enable them to develop their skills and transform their lives into independent living
  • Work as a key-worker to a case load of residents, facilitating person-centred plans to help them achieve their goals
  • Deliver or facilitate group or one-to-one sessions with residents to support their journey to independent living
  • Support and empower residents to maintain their tenancy and manage rent arrears
Requirements
  • Proactive and personable approach, with experience working in a similar setting
  • Ability to engage with and support young people in their journey to independent living
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including day shifts, earlies, lates, and evenings, with 1 in 4 weekends
  • Acting as a role model to young people and working with them to develop and maintain positive relationships
