Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team in Islington. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teenagers with SEMH needs, helping them overcome challenges, and transition back into a mainstream learning environment.

'Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in a mainstream learning environment
  • Help students overcome challenges and develop resilience
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a comprehensive support package

Requirements

To be successful as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you must possess a compassionate and resilient approach to supporting students with SEMH needs. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with teachers and other support staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEMH needs and be able to adapt their support strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.

Salary and Benefits
