Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HR professionals to deliver high-quality employment relations and HR services.
  • Develop and implement effective employment relations strategies to foster positive partnerships with trade unions and employee representatives.
  • Provide expert advice to leadership teams on employment law and HR matters.
  • Manage employment tribunals and internal appeals processes to mitigate risks.
  • Be a role model and subject-matter expert on employment relations and people management matters.

Requirements

  • Chartered MCIPD or equivalent qualification.
  • Substantial experience of leading employment relations or generalist HR teams in complex unionised environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully working in partnership with trade unions and employee representatives.
  • Experience of navigating organisations through change.
