Education Specialist for Young People with Mental Health Needs

We are seeking an experienced Education Specialist to join our team as a Mentor for Young People. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of students with mental health needs.
About the Role:This full-time/part-time position involves working closely with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to ensure that students receive the emotional, psychological, and academic support they need to succeed. You will play an integral part in creating a nurturing and safe environment for students, where mental well-being is a priority.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to students who are experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized support plans that promote emotional well-being and resilience.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students to help them feel safe, understood, and supported.
- Work closely with mental health professionals, SENCOs, and teaching staff to deliver holistic support tailored to the needs of each student.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for supporting students with mental health needs. Ideally, you will have experience working with young people in a mental health or educational setting, and a solid understanding of how mental health impacts learning.
