As an Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioner at Mersey Care, you will be responsible for developing skills in supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This will involve working in partnership with children, young people, their families, and educators to develop and implement plans of care.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, help children and young people access specialist services when needed, and support staff in education settings to identify and manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing. You will also engage with senior staff in signposting referrals for children and young people with more complex needs to relevant services.

Successful applicants will have a Foundation degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area, as well as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. We also require candidates to have experience of working in a care setting or with vulnerable groups.
