Mental Health Educator

Future Education is looking for a highly skilled Mental Health Educator to join our team. As a Mental Health Educator, you will work with pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including those with Autism and challenging behaviours.
You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH and Autism. You will also be required to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, manage challenging behaviours, and collaborate with other teachers and external professionals.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with SEMH and Autism, as well as strong behaviour management skills and the ability to handle challenging behaviours calmly and effectively. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to create and maintain a supportive and nurturing classroom environment.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
