**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Vision for Education - Manchester. As a specialist school in Oldham, we require an individual who can provide support to young people and children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support to students within education settings.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies for supporting pupils with mental health needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • A caring and supportive personality.
  • Experience of working with those with social, emotional, or mental health needs.
  • Relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
  • Patient, caring and adaptable to each young person you will support.
