Team Lead Occupational Therapist for Community Mental Health

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to lead our Adult Mental Health Team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective service plans, working collaboratively with other teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
About the TeamThe successful candidate will join a dynamic and dedicated team of occupational therapists, working closely with other multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients with adult mental health needs. Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective service plans, working collaboratively with other teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring high-quality care delivery and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with professional and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for service improvement and develop strategies for implementation.
- Prioritize workload and manage self and others' caseloads, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Autonomous practitioner with self-management skills, planning, and prioritization of workload.
- Evidence of experience in Mental Health services as a Band 5 or 6.
- Knowledge of services linking across primary/secondary care interfaces, Health and Safety at Work Act, and current healthcare policies.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £51,411 - £63,779 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training and development opportunities.
