Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role within the Community Mental Health Team.

This part-time position will offer the chance to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to provide high-quality care to patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • To work autonomously in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Occupational Therapy interventions in community-based settings.
  • To lead the Community Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team and provide supervision, induction, training, and education of other Occupational Therapists.
  • To work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to negotiate care provision across the primary/secondary care interface.
Requirements

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum

Working Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours per week
