Job Title

Mental Health Care Professional - Band 6

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Care Professional to join our Community Mental Health Team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating Occupational Therapy interventions in secondary care and community settings.

About the Role

You will be responsible for applying your specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy across a range of procedures, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will also provide leadership through supervision, induction, training, and education of junior staff and students.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy at degree level or equivalent.
  • Professional registration as awarded by the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of recent learning and continued professional development at a higher level.
  • Experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Planning and prioritization of workload.
  • Ability to support and supervise others.
  • Knowledge of current healthcare policies and application.
