This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Support Assistant at Coventry City Council, where you'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities in maintaining their tenancies.

You'll be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team working various hours and shifts, including sleep-ins, to provide high standards of person-centred support to service users.

The ideal candidate will have a creative and caring approach, able to build good relationships with service users and promote their dignity, respect, and independence at all times.

As a Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that health and safety requirements are adhered to, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and making sure the service provided meets the needs and outcomes of each service user.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality care and support to service users, promoting their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being. ">
  • Working collaboratively with management to ensure that all service users' needs are met to support their outcomes. ">
  • Safeguarding vulnerable adults and ensuring that health and safety requirements are adhered to. ">
  • Making sure the service provided meets the needs and outcomes of each service user. ">

We offer a competitive salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, plus benefits, to successful applicants.
