Recovery and Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to provide unwavering support to service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
The successful candidate will implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing the harm caused by opiate use, including group sessions and one-on-one engagement.
Key responsibilities include ensuring service users receive a comprehensive recovery-focused detoxification plan, collaborating with other organisations to enhance recovery resources, and advocating for the involvement of family members and community groups.
Responsibilities:- Provide support to service users from initial contact to completion of treatment
- Implement interventions to reduce opiate-related harm
- Develop and deliver individualised detoxification plans
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance recovery services
- Advocate for service user involvement in treatment planning
- Facilitate social reintegration through peer support and community engagement
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by substances, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices is essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient IT skills and a commitment to information governance processes are also required.
